After three
wedding fairs and nine months of being engaged, I decided to blog about our
journey to happily ever after (and beyond). I’ve always loved fairy tales but I
never expected that preparing for the scene before dropping the curtains
(wedding scene) is like a humongous project that entails too much work. I need
to be the executive producer, budget manager, supplier accreditor and financier,
not to mention the lead actress of our wedding production. No wonder brides
become bridezilla on their wedding day. You have to be that pretty girl with a
pretty smile in a pretty dress merrily dancing around in a magnificent palace
(a.k.a. reception venue) despite sooo many things to do and sooo many stressors
to deal with.
I’m sure
Cinderella was able to handle her wedding preparations with ease since she’s
accustomed in meeting her step sisters’ demands. But what about Sleeping
Beauty?! She slept for 100 years which can be translated to gazillion years in
fashion! How will she now pick her wedding gown?! Ariel (the little mermaid) on
the other hand had a crazy time transporting her suppliers from land into the
sea. How did these princesses managed to
sing, dance and look stunning on their wedding day?!
